At Animal Balance, we believe that lasting change starts with awareness. That’s why education is a cornerstone of our work in the Galápagos Islands.
Our goal is to foster a shared understanding of how responsible animal care directly supports conservation—and to empower every member of the community to become a protector of both animals and biodiversity.

​Our educational strategy focuses on clarity, creativity, and community engagement. We design locally adapted materials that translate new animal regulations into accessible language and practical habits.
We then bring those materials to life through:

- Workshops in schools with games and art
- Public events and community fairs
- Street campaigns and door-to-door outreach
- Training sessions for pet guardians
- Collaborations with local artists and educators

From explaining why sterilization matters, to showing how pet behavior affects marine iguanas and sea lions, our educational work helps transform laws and policies into everyday practices rooted in care, pride, and respect for Galápagos’ unique ecosystem.
